Job Summary
Asia EHSA Manager responsible for establishing and maintaining EHS work frameworks at the Shanghai site, ensuring compliance with government regulations, leading incident investigations and root cause analyses, managing environmental and safety programs (risk assessment, LOTO, chemical management), developing and delivering EHSA training, coordinating energy management and ESG initiatives, organizing audits and KPI reporting, and maintaining relationships with regulators, clients and communities. Requires a bachelor-level degree in Environment/Safety/Chemical Engineering or related field, 10+ years of relevant experience, ISO 14001 EMS & OHSAS 18001 familiarity, strong English communication, and the ability to travel within Shanxi and East Asia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or above degree in Environment Engineering/Safety Engineering/Chemical Engineering or other relevant areas
- Minimum 10 years working experience in relevant areas
- Experience with ISO 14001 EMS & OHSAS 18001
- Expert in environmental safety and people safety in chemical industry
- Interpersonal skills, partnership-building, results-oriented, self-starter & highly motivated
- Excellent communication & written English
- National Safety Engineer Certification is preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel within Shanxi and East Asia
