Job Summary
Lead avionics system architecture design and integration across avionics, communication, navigation, electronic warfare, voice/data recording, and automatic flight control systems. Manage test planning, evaluation, and performance analysis for integrated avionics systems; provide system maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical oversight; support Information Assurance compliance; manage component and system-level obsolescence; review MWOs and aircraft integration documentation for accuracy and technical integrity; collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to advance aircraft modernization efforts. Requires 17+ years in avionics, a Bachelor’s degree, DoD/DoW clearance eligibility, and US citizenship; willing to travel up to 25% (US travel only).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
- A minimum of 17 years of cumulative experience in avionics systems and integration
- Proficiency with engineering software tools, data analysis techniques, and statistical methods
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and demonstrated analytical thinking in resolving complex technical challenges
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoW security clearance
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only
