Job Summary
Exempt Assistant/Associate Professor of Physician Assistant at ATSU-ASHS in Mesa, AZ. Responsibilities include developing and evaluating the PA curriculum, teaching, counseling students, coordinating with faculty and external partners, securing and evaluating adjunct faculty, assisting in accreditation and self-studies, providing academic advising to a cohort, reviewing scholarly literature to inform teaching, assisting with recruitment and marketing activities, contributing to grants and reports, and guiding Master’s Capstone projects; engagement in scholarly activity and participation in university and department committees. Requires a Master’s degree (doctoral preferred) and healthcare/educational experience with PA curriculum knowledge; strong organizational and collaborative skills.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree required, doctoral degree preferred
- Strong ability to develop and deliver medical course instruction
- Knowledge of PA practice competencies
- Cooperative and able to work in team situations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
