Aseptic Technician I

Job Summary
Execute aseptic techniques and clean room procedures in a GMP facility while maintaining accurate inventory records for seed supply. Operate departmental equipment including bioreactors, perform inoculation, candling, and harvest of all CEO seeds, and conduct environmental monitoring and staging of clean rooms. Lead operations to comply with written procedures, Batch Records, and SOPs, while accurately documenting production activities on paper and in computer-based systems. Monitor and respond to Building Management System alarms and identify ways to improve the department's safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or GED
- Post High School education in the Sciences or other related disciplines
- Good mathematical, science and computer skills
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to walk, sit, or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to wear a respirator
- Ability to reach above shoulder level, bend/stoop, push/pull, and handle/grip frequently
- Ability to work scheduled 40 hours with the ability to work overtime as needed
- Comfort working in varying temperatures
- Frequent lifting and carrying 5 to 25 lbs
- Regular reaching, bending, stooping, and twisting
- Repetitive motion and substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Possess or obtain authorization to work in the US
- Ability to disclose if requiring sponsorship for nonimmigrant status
