Aseptic Technician – Assembly 1st Shift 4:30am – 1:00pm

Job Summary
Assemble viral and bacterial antigens into final serials while applying excellent aseptic technique for serial production. Follow and complete process documentation in support of GMP, maintain accurate inventories of bulk fluids, and perform environmental monitoring. Maintain equipment and facilities in proper working order, adhere to safety policies regarding biological and chemical components, and assist in preparing SOPs and validating procedures. Train in all functions of the Assembly department and perform other duties as assigned. Work the 1st shift from 4:30am to 1:00pm, with overtime, weekend, and holiday availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Two years post-secondary education with biological coursework
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills
- Working knowledge of metric system
- Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards, continuous standing and lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs
- Weekend and holiday work
- Authorization to work in the US
- Possess or obtain authorization to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant experience in biological production and/or aseptic manufacturing
