Job Summary
Aseptic Manufacturing Technician I will support the autologous cell therapy manufacturing program, including suite preparation, material transfer, environmental monitoring, BSC runner duties, final product inspection, and cryopreservation in controlled-rate freezers for commercial and clinical use. The role requires understanding GMP cell therapy manufacturing processes, completing training and documentation, adhering to GMP/SOP/GDP, and performing operational duties across shifts with potential overtime. The position emphasizes working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment within a cleanroom setting; candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 0-1 year of related GMP manufacturing exposure. The role also involves gowning qualifications, routine logbook reviews, and collaboration in daily production activities. Shift assignments may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, with potential overtime, and the role is based in Philadelphia, PA onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 0-1 year of experience in biopharmaceutical GMP manufacturing operations (aseptic technique, aseptic liquid transfers, BSC operations) is a plus
- Proficiency in reading/writing English for Good Documentation Practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP, SOPs, and FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 11, GxP)
