Job Summary
ASE Technician responsible for diagnosing automotive systems, performing repair and maintenance services, and ensuring work is completed to VIP quality standards. Duties include conducting diagnostics across ASE-listed areas (A1–A8), initiating Service Work Orders and MPI, maintaining 16-week productivity targets, and supporting the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process. Requires ability to interpret instructions, explain vehicle information to customers, and apply safety and regulatory requirements. Certifications pursued include G1, A4, A5 ASE certifications (or equivalent) and state inspection license; position expects completion of required LMS training and ongoing ASE certification status. The role is a 40-hour, five-day workweek in Windham, ME, with in-person service duties and a non-exempt/hourly pay structure.
Required Qualifications
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations
- Diagnose and recommend solutions to automotive problems
- Explain vehicle information to customers
- Possess ASE Certifications (G1, A4, A5) or equivalent
- State Inspection License
- Driver's license
