Job Summary
ASE Technician responsible for diagnosing automotive systems and performing repairs across ASE-listed areas including engine repair, automatic transmission/transaxle, manual drive train/axles, suspension & steering, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, and HVAC. Duties include ensuring a valid Service Work Order, completing MPI, maintaining parts handling, and upholding VIP safety and quality standards. Requires ASE certifications per position (G1, A4, A5 or broader ASE status), and State Inspection License; involves 40-hour work week, indoor shop environment with exposure to varying conditions; travel not specified; must complete LMS training and obtain required certifications (T.I.A BATS/TPMS when applicable).
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
