ASE Technician - Saco ME

ASE Technician in Saco, ME responsible for diagnosing automotive systems, repairing and replacing parts, fluids, tires, and accessories across ASE-listed areas (A1 Engine Repair, A2 Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, A3 Manual Drive Train & Axles, A4 Suspension & Steering, A5 Brakes, A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems, A7 Heating & Air Conditioning, A8 Engine Performance). Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and visible, complete MPI, support 5-for-5 Customer Engagement, maintain productivity (minimum 50% billed hours / worked hours target; standard 5-day, 40-hour week), and adhere to safety and loss-prevention programs. Requires ongoing training to maintain/achieve ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5; or four A-Series ASE certifications for ASE Technician, or all eight A-Series for Master Technician). Must possess a valid driver’s license, Equipment Safety Certification, and State Inspection License. Will perform road tests after service, maintain shop cleanliness, and comply with municipal, state, and federal regulations governing hazardous waste disposal. Protective eyewear required; work occurs in an indoor service department with exposure to environmental and noise conditions. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions and to explain vehicle information to customers. Prioritize safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction in servicing vehicles.
