Job Summary
ASE Technician role in Portsmouth, NH responsible for diagnosing and repairing automotive systems across ASE areas (A1-A8) per VIP standards. Duties include ensuring Service Work Orders are initiated and displayed, performing MPI, maintaining 16-week productivity targets, obtaining parts through the Desk Team, maintaining safety and shop cleanliness, completing required training and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5; Master Technician path as applicable), road testing vehicles to verify repairs, and participating in team meetings and daily shop maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
