Job Summary
ASE Technician responsible for productive diagnosis, repair, and replacement of automotive parts and accessories, adhering to safety, loss prevention, and customer service programs as well as policies and regulations. Performs VIP Multipoint Vehicle Inspections, maintains Service Work Order visibility, supports in-house training and OSHA/safety standards, and works with Service Manager to ensure shop efficiency. Requires ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues (engine, A/C, brakes, steering/suspension, exhaust, tire services, alignments, fluid services) and to train apprentices while maintaining required certifications and licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in 4 or more specialties and one IMACA or MACS certification for refrigerant handling and recovery
- State Motor Vehicle Inspection License if store is located in a state that participates in vehicle safety and emission inspections and the facility is licensed to perform them
- Completion of two-year college or technical school recommended
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Certified Technician
