ASE Technician - Manchester NH

ASE Technician at VIP in Manchester NH is responsible for diagnosing and repairing automotive systems across ASE categories (A1–engine repair, A2–automatic transmission, A3–manual drive train & axles, A4–suspension & steering, A5–brakes, A6–electrical/electronic, A7–heating & A/C, A8–engine performance). Duties include creating and displaying Service Work Orders, completing MPI, following safety/loss-prevention procedures, procuring parts with service desk, performing road tests, maintaining shop cleanliness, and supporting the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process. The role requires effective communication with customers, adherence to VIP quality standards, and ongoing training to achieve ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5, and others per position) and state inspections. Work environment is an indoor service department with standard 40-hour weeks, with emphasis on maintaining productivity and proper documentation. The ideal candidate has at least one year of automotive service experience, a two-year degree or technical program preferred, and holds or is pursuing ASE certifications plus a valid driver’s license and state inspection/license credentials.
