Job Summary
ASE Technician role performing diagnostic and repair work across automotive systems, including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and related components. Responsible for safe operation, accurate service work orders, MPI completion, and achieving quality first-time repair. Must maintain ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) as applicable, become state vehicle inspector and complete required LMS training, with a focus on safety, customer engagement, and adherence to VIP processes and regulatory requirements. Position requires adherence to 5-for-5 engagement, on-site shop duties, and a typical 40-hour work week in a Brewer, ME facility.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
