Job Summary
ASE Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive systems across ASE-listed areas (A1–A8), ensuringSafety and quality per VIP processes. Duties include interpreting technical instructions, performing vehicle inspections, completing Service Work Orders and MPI, engaging customers through the 5-for-5 process, obtaining parts through the service desk, maintaining a clean and safe shop, and pursuing ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection licensing as required. Must participate in training, uphold safety and loss-prevention programs, and meet productivity benchmarks (minimum 50%/90% depending on tier) with a typical 40-hour, 5-day work week.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
