Job Summary
Dental Assistant on the Mesa, AZ campus to support students and faculty chairside, maintain operatories and supplies, manage suction lines/DUWL, participate in staff meetings, and assist with clinic operations and cost-saving measures. Requires CPR and X-Ray certification, 2-3 years of dental assisting experience (CDA preferred), and electronic health records experience; duties include biopsies processing, continuing education, and maintaining OSHA/compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- CPR certification
- X-Ray certification
- 2-3 years of dental assisting experience
- CDA preferred
- at least one year electronic health records software experience
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, aseptic procedures, HIPAA regulations, sterilization, infection control, and dental procedures and supplies
- Professional appearance and strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Must be flexible and able to change assignments with little direction
- Must work well independently and in a group environment
