ASD Teacher Consultant responsible for promoting independence, socialization and quality of life for students with ASD. The role requires a valid Michigan Teacher Certification with ASD endorsement, and involves maintaining confidentiality, engaging in required professional development, and collaborating to provide instructional and related services. The successful candidate will work with students pre-K to age 26 who have mild to severe impairments and will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and services (hearing, vision, physical and occupational therapy, speech, psychology, and nursing). A satisfactory background check and a Michigan driver's license are required.
