Job Summary
Leads a Direct and/or Vendor Sales team for Ascentium Capital, driving business development and client servicing. Oversees hiring, onboarding, coaching, training, and coaching of associates; manages sales activities to achieve individual and team targets; maintains deep knowledge of product offerings and communicates benefits to buyers; ensures compliance with regulations and internal policies; provides timely reporting; conducts regular sales meetings; supports senior management in maximizing partnerships and client/associate experience; role is exempt from overtime and eligible for incentive pay.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Six (6) years of commercial, small business, equipment financing or related inside sales experience
- Management/supervisory experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commission, and percentages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- CRM platforms knowledge
- Developed negotiation and consultative sales skills
- Developed relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to present information effectively to different audiences
