ASC Physical Therapist

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive post-surgical evaluations for patients undergoing same-day total joint replacements and establish individualized plans of care during the recovery room stay. Perform same-day mobilization and essential pre-discharge functional training to ensure patient safety while managing progress in the PACU. Design and discuss appropriate treatment interventions based on evaluation findings, including home set-up discussions to identify barriers for safe discharge. Complete necessary documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain confidentiality. Requires a Rhode Island physical therapy license, orthopedics experience preferred, and ability to travel to all sites.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of RI
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Attention to detail
- Team oriented professional
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Must be able to travel to all sites if/when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in orthopedics/musculoskeletal rehab preferred
