Job Summary
The ASC Orderly supports the surgical team by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the surgery center. Responsibilities include assisting with patient transport, room turnover, equipment setup and breakdown, and completing weekly housekeeping checklists. The Orderly works closely with clinical staff, monitors inventory levels, and engages in tasks that ensure high-quality patient care and efficient surgical operations. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 2 years of orderly experience required, preferably in an ASC environment
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products required
Desired Qualifications
- Materials management experience preferred
- Experience working with medical record systems preferred
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
