Job Summary
Set up plastic barriers and safety equipment to contain asbestos, then safely remove and dispose of asbestos and mold following OSHA and company safety rules. Wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators and protective suits, while working with your team to complete projects safely and on time. Clean work areas so they are safe to use again and maintain accurate daily records of work completed. Reliable daily transportation to the Bay Area office is required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience in at least one of these: asbestos abatement, demolition, or construction.
- Know OSHA safety rules for working with hazardous materials.
- Be able to lift heavy equipment and work in respirators and protective gear.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Have reliable daily transportation to the Bay Area office at: 22390 Thunderbird Pl, Hayward, CA 94545.
Desired Qualifications
- Current California Asbestos Abatement Certification.
- Familiarity or certification in mold remediation techniques.
- A valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
