Job Summary
Set up plastic barriers and safety equipment to contain asbestos, then safely remove and dispose of hazardous materials following OSHA and company rules. Wear required protective gear including respirators and suits, clean work areas for reuse, and maintain accurate daily records of completed tasks. Collaborate with your team to finish projects safely and on time while transporting yourself to various job sites in the Los Angeles/Anaheim area.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience in at least one of these: asbestos abatement, demolition, or construction.
- Know OSHA safety rules for working with hazardous materials.
- Be able to lift heavy equipment and work in respirators and protective gear.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Have reliable daily transportation to our Los Angeles/Anaheim area office at: 13023 La Dana Ct Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670.
Desired Qualifications
- Current California Asbestos Abatement Certification.
- Familiarity or certification in mold remediation techniques.
- A valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
