Asbestos Compliance Manager

Job Summary
Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and safety tours to ensure full compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures, and legal requirements including fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, gas, electrical, and physical security. Own and lead the development of company asbestos procedures, support ISO audits, and maintain SHEQ systems and documentation. Monitor data to identify trends, support incident investigation as a subject matter expert, and attend SHEQ meetings to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Carry out planned maintenance programmes, manage FM and M&E contractors via KPIs and SLAs, and encourage hazard reporting. Requires BOHS qualification, IOSH, and full UK driving licence. Permanent, full-time role in Dartford with competitive salary.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- BOHS Qualified
- Experience within social housing, maintenance, or minor works projects
- Strong knowledge of Asbestos related legislation and best practices
- A facilities management qualification (IWFM or equivalent)
- A health and safety qualification such as IOSH
- Microsoft Office
- DBS Check
