Asbestos Compliance Manager

Job Summary
Promote and implement a strong SHEQ culture aligned with a "Zero Harm" approach while ensuring full compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and safety tours to monitor trends, analyze data, and support incident investigations as a subject matter expert. Own and lead the development of the company Asbestos procedures, manage planned maintenance programmes, and oversee FM and M&E contractors through KPIs and SLAs. Support ISO audits, maintain SHEQ systems and documentation, and encourage hazard reporting to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the office estate.
Required Qualifications
- BOHS Qualified
- Facilities Management experience
- Strong contractor management skills
- Proven track record of delivering compliance and operational excellence within a multi-site environment
- Facilities management qualification (IWFM or equivalent)
- Health and safety qualification such as IOSH
- Experience within social housing, maintenance, or minor works projects
- Strong knowledge of Asbestos related legislation and best practices
- Experience with audits, reporting, and compliance systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Microsoft Office
- SHEQ systems
