As Needed - Flex Building Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct regular assessments of building systems and perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests for interior and exterior building equipment. Manage work order requests related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems while proactively maintaining an ongoing task list for the property management team. Serve as the primary contact for vendors, overseeing their check-in/out process and escorting them to work areas. Assist with fire panel and extinguisher inspections and ensure a safe job site adhering to company, OSHA, and client-specific safety standards. Work alongside the Building Engineering team to provide backup coverage during vacations or emergencies on an as-needed basis. Typical hours are the first shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current and valid driver's license
- Lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work within tight spaces
- Drug screening
- Background check
- MVR check
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
