Job Summary
Conduct video surveillance and complete Special Investigations Unit assignments within an assigned geographical area, securing covert footage and recorded statements as directed by case managers. Review case materials prior to activity, perform scene inspections, and secure documents while adhering to specific assignment requirements. Submit all videotaped results, photographs, and digital recordings via e-mail by the next business day, ensuring timely written notes and effective communication regarding progress. Maintain confidentiality of all information obtained and meet established client deadlines. Possess a valid driver's license, current private investigator license, and reliable vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state issued driver's license
- Current private investigator license (if applicable)
- Dependable and able to meet deadlines
- Self-starter capable of working with limited supervision
- Investigative tools (Laptop, Video Cameras, Digital Recorder, etc.)
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience conducting surveillance as a field investigator
- Experience completing SIU claim investigations
- Reliable vehicle
