Job Summary
After-School Musical Theater Instructor for TK-5 students. Lead engaging, age-appropriate musical theatre classes for elementary students in an after-school enrichment program, teaching acting, singing, movement, and stage presence. Plans and delivers 40-50 minute lessons, teaches 2-3 classes per day, and coordinates an end-of-session showcase. Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom, manage student behavior with positive strategies, communicate with after-school staff, and prepare materials for each class session. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in art or related field (or relevant experience) and at least one year of experience with TK-5 students; strong classroom management and communication skills; ability to design engaging activities; and bilingual abilities a plus.
