Job Summary
Create high-quality digital composites and visual effects by seamlessly integrating shot elements, performing keying, and executing shot lookdev using the Nuke 3D system. Collaborate with Supervisors to complete compositing tasks, review feedback, and solve creative and technical problems under tight deadlines while adhering to production guidelines. Deliver shots on schedule to the highest quality standards within our 2D team, supporting the artistic vision of live-action feature films and television projects.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of compositing experience
- Working knowledge of live-action feature film and television VFX production pipelines
- Expert knowledge of Nuke
- Excellent artistic skills with a strong sense of color, lighting, perspective, scale, and composition
- Attention to detail and a desire to deliver consistently high-quality work
- Collaborative by nature with the ability to work within a team-based environment
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada as specified and, where applicable, must have a valid work permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of color pipelines, scripting experience, and awareness of emerging technologies all considered an asset
