Job Summary
Deliver tuition for 12-week Ceramics courses (Coloured Clays, Porcelain, Basic Mould Making) for adults, including devising clear lesson plans and course structure to enable progression; teach beginners/improvers in ceramics techniques; prepare equipment and liaise with Learning Team; reflect and evaluate course delivery; ensure safeguarding and Health & Safety compliance; deliver courses across autumn term with potential continuation; attend induction; work within MAC policies and support a vibrant, participatory arts learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivering practical Ceramics courses and workshops.
- Educated/experienced to a suitable level in Ceramics, Porcelain and Mould Making.
- Proven ability to communicate well with a range of people using varied communication methods.
- A passion and commitment to the Arts.
- A commitment to further your skills and knowledge in participatory arts, including attending meetings, participating in training, and reflecting on your practice.
