Job Summary
Manage broker and agent relationships to develop new business and drive gross written premium growth within your assigned territory. Conduct outside sales, prospect for new agency registrations, and execute renewal retention strategies to meet specific targets. Cultivate long-term client connections through sales calls, correspondence, and trade show participation while resolving issues promptly. Onboard new agencies, conduct training via webinars, and maintain a comprehensive database of producers. Monitor competitor pricing, industry trends, and key performance metrics such as quote and close ratios to adapt marketing strategies. Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal departments, ensuring sound working relationships across all company units.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience
- 5 years of relevant and progressive experience in area of specialization
- Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
- Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company's business to proactively respond to changing business environment
- Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
