Job Summary
Deliver outpatient art therapy services to veterans managing brain/spinal cord injuries and PTSD, conducting intakes, overseeing individual and occasional family therapies, and developing adaptive treatment plans. Perform mental health assessments, lead therapeutic art activities, and maintain comprehensive documentation aligned with federal and state guidelines. Actively contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance communication and unity. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule with reimbursement for mileage and preapproved expenses, allowing you to work with multiple clients across Florida, Georgia, and Texas. Certification as a Registered Art Therapist or Provisional Registered Art Therapist is required, along with a Master's degree in Art Therapy or a related counseling field.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) or Registered Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC)
- OR a Provisional Registered Art Therapist
- Master's degree in Art Therapy or related counseling field, with master's level Art Therapy certification
- Proficient computer skills
- Valid driver's license and clean background and driver's record checks
- Background check and driver's record check
