Job Summary
Deliver outpatient art therapy services to enhance veterans' well-being, conducting intakes, individual, and occasional family therapies. Develop and adapt treatment plans with regular reviews, perform mental health assessments, and lead therapeutic art activities for those managing brain/spinal cord injuries and PTSD. Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with federal and state guidelines while contributing to interdisciplinary team meetings. Provisional Registered Art Therapist accepted; Master's degree required with certification. Valid driver's license and clean background checks mandatory. On the road work location with flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) or Registered Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC)
- OR a Provisional Registered Art Therapist
- Master's degree in Art Therapy or related counseling field, with master's level Art Therapy certification
- Proficient computer skills
- Valid driver's license
- Clean background and driver's record checks
