Job Summary
Art Therapist provides direct assessment and clinical interventions for pediatric patients and families in a hospital setting, aligning with Art Therapy competencies and credentialed by ATCB. Works within the Child Life department to support emotional, social, mental, and physical well-being; collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver trauma-informed, family-centered care; maintains board certification and adheres to Nemours mandatory requirements; participates in department and hospital projects, and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, planning and directing art therapy interventions, communicating effectively in fast-paced environments, and contributing to ongoing clinical education.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree required
- Certification through the American Art Therapy Association required
