Job Summary
Art Teacher at Medford High School: develop and administer a high school art curriculum aligned with district goals, plan lessons and instructional materials, promote a safe classroom for individualized and small-group learning, conduct ongoing assessment of student learning, maintain accurate records of grading and attendance per union contract, and administer standardized tests in accordance with district programs. Requires knowledge of teaching methods, differentiation, and curriculum concepts; strong emphasis on planning, assessment, record-keeping, and professional growth as outlined in the district contract. Masters degree preferred; MA state certification/licensure (K-12) preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in education
- MA State Certification/Licensure K-12 preferred but not required
- Masters Degree preferred
- Experience in teaching high school art or related subject
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and current pedagogical methods

- MA State Certification/Licensure K-12 Preferred but not required
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment
- Masters Degree preferred
- Experience with differentiated instruction
