Job Summary
Art Teacher responsible for planning and delivering instruction aligned with the NC State Standard Course of Study, creating a safe and engaging classroom environment, differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs, and collaboratively supporting school improvement. Duties include developing proficient, standards-based lesson plans; managing behavior; participating in MTSS; applying Leader In Me leadership behaviors; collaborating with colleagues; using instructional technology; communicating with parents/guardians to foster a positive educational environment; and performing other duties as assigned by the Principal. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a North Carolina teaching license (or in process). The position is a 195‐day contract with the stated salary incentive noted for licensure.
