Job Summary
Teach specialized arts and enrichment classes for participants of varying ages and skill levels, both in-group and individual settings; host classes offsite in the community as part of Arts Outreach, plan and deliver instruction, maintain course records, and promote programming. Responsibilities include adapting teaching techniques to meet learners’ needs, ensuring safe use of tools and materials, managing equipment and supplies, coordinating transportation and setup/takedown, and communicating effectively with staff and patrons. Requires at least 21 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and two years of professional art/enrichment teaching experience; CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license. Travel to offsite locations, participate in staff trainings, and maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least two (2) years of professional art and/or enrichment teaching experience.
- Current certifications in AED/CPR and First Aid preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within thirty (30) days of employment.
