Job Summary
Operate CNC routers and double miter saws to precisely cut picture frame products from acrylic and mat board, utilizing nesting software to optimize material usage. Apply stain and wood glue meticulously before underpinning frames with a pneumatic underpinner, while conducting final visual quality inspections to ensure adherence to customer specifications. Collaborate with art cell teams to prioritize production tasks and occasionally assist in the shipping department to maintain workflow efficiency. Maintain a clean work area and perform routine equipment maintenance. This full-time role in Holyoke, MA, requires standing and lifting 10-40 pounds daily, with a base salary of $21-$23/hr plus performance bonuses.

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to changing production demands to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment, with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team and respond to needs of the business
- Standing/walking 8 plus hours a day
- Lifting 10 - 40 pounds
- Safety glasses required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior woodworking experience, while not required, is preferred
- Familiarity with operating CNC routers, double miter saws, or similar machinery is preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance on production equipment is preferred
- Experience working with computers and proficiency in basic computer skills is preferred
- Familiarity with picture framing or related industries is preferred
