Job Summary

Lead guided painting sessions by preparing master paintings, breaking steps into templates, and hosting the event while managing food and drink needs. Provide step-by-step guidance to guests, assign seating, greet attendees, and capture social media photos throughout the two-hour experience. Handle kitchen duties when assigned, including plating orders and maintaining safety standards, then reset the studio for the next group. Cross-train to share load and cover shifts as needed to keep the guest experience the priority during nights, weekends, and evenings.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on painting experience
  • Acrylics
  • Bachelor's degree in a related art field
  • Experience teaching or leading a group
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role
  • Strong communication
  • Punctuality
  • A real service instinct
  • Comfortable with the tech that runs a session, including mics, printers, sound systems, etc
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% weekly

  • Standing for long stretches
  • Stepping onto and off of elevated surfaces frequently
  • Frequent bending, reaching, moving, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Moving through the studio quickly and safely, including tight spaces and raised surfaces like the stage
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with music and large groups
  • Part-time, averaging 15 to 25 hours a week
