Job Summary
Teach Art History at Illinois Valley Community College in-person at the Oglesby campus or as a Dual Credit class at an in-district high school; position may involve online classes. Requires a Master’s in Art History (or MFA with 18 graduate credits in Art History, or related field with 18 graduate credits in Art History) from an accredited institution. Previous college-level teaching and online teaching experience preferred, along with familiarity with digital accessibility standards. Online instructors must reside in Illinois. Responsibilities include delivering courses, evaluating student work, and supporting the department’s mission; employment contingent on criminal background check; sponsorship not available; AA/EOE.
Required Qualifications
- Master's in Art History, or Master's in Art, or Master of Fine Arts (MFA) with 18 graduate credits in Art History; or Master's in a related field with 18 graduate credits in Art History. Graduate coursework must be from an accredited college/university.
