Job Summary
Assist with local and interstate collections and deliveries of fine art, antiques, and personal effects by safely packing, handling, and transporting fragile, oversized, and high-value items. Load and unload trucks using proper equipment and safe handling techniques while supporting installation and placement projects at client locations. Complete condition checks, reports, and job documentation accurately; verify goods against daily trip sheets and report manifest changes to the Operations or Dispatch Manager. Partner with drivers to ensure vehicles are clean, organized, and properly loaded. Maintain inventory through warehouse operations, scanning, and item tracking while adhering to all safety standards and protocols. Submit supervisor-signed manual timesheets within 24 hours if starting or ending shifts at off-site locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 120 pounds using appropriate equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the workday
- Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Maintain a professional appearance and always represent the company positively
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in moving, warehousing, logistics, transportation, or art handling on local & interstate basis
- Understanding inventory processes and the ability to learn proper handling, transportation, and installation of furniture, fine art, and antiques
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking and teamwork abilities
- Ability to complete detailed paperwork and condition reports accurately
- Professional attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience using pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment
