Job Summary

Lead creative development of hospitality environments from concept through Games-time execution for the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games. Direct design processes including ideation, fabrication, and installation while translating strategic objectives into immersive guest experiences. Provide art direction to internal teams and external partners, ensuring visual consistency across multiple venues and aligning with the LA28 Hospitality creative vision. Present design rationale to executive leadership and coordinate with architects, fabricators, and vendors to deliver operationally sound solutions. Review deliverables for quality and production readiness while balancing creativity with budget, schedule, and constructability constraints.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design or related discipline or experience
  • 8+ years of experience in experiential design, hospitality, event design, entertainment, or environmental design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating environmental storytelling, spatial design, presentation graphics, and technical documentation
  • Advanced proficiency in Sketchup, Layout, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Architectural Drafting
  • Experience with 3D modeling workflow
  • Mastery of rendering software such as Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, or Twinmotion
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
  • Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays
  • This position may require up to 25 % travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience designing large-scale sporting events, hospitality programs, exhibitions, or action sports
  • Interior Design and Curation
  • Additional Craft/production skills
  • Additional art skills (illustrative, drawing, sketching, or other methods to convey creative ideas internally and externally)
  • Additional Adobe Suite or motion graphics experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with sustainable practices
