Job Summary
Organize the 3-D Studio and prepare materials for 3-D Form and Concept, Sculpture, and Ceramics classes. Set up and clean up instructor demonstrations while assisting Ceramics Studio Assistants with kiln loading, firing monitoring, glaze mixing, and clay recycling. Handle student artwork with care, maintain studio cleanliness, and lift objects up to 25 lbs. Inform professors of studio needs and support department work study staff with exhibition setup, event preparation, and furniture assembly. Develop NACE competency skills and demonstrate leadership through safe tool usage and clear communication regarding weekly tasks and semester goals.
