Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, prepare rooms with necessary supplies, and perform Medical Assistant duties. Promptly greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Obtain and document patient vital signs, history, medications, and allergies. Assist with patient transfers, procedures supervised by providers, and front desk check-in/out processes. Ensure equipment is in proper working order and maintain diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills. This role supports Washington Regional Urgent Care's six locations in Northwest Arkansas, part of the Urgent Team family of centers. Full-time staff work rotating 36-40 hour weeks with 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekends, while PRN members work as-needed schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
