ARRT Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist - PRN

Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, prepare rooms with necessary supplies, and perform Medical Assistant duties. Greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide solutions to problems while recognizing hazardous situations. Execute follow-up calls, assist with patient transfers, and obtain vital signs and medical history. Document patient visits, ensure equipment quality control, and follow radiation protection protocols. Maintain current licensure and diagnostic imaging knowledge. Full-time staff work rotating 36-40 hour weeks with 12-hour weekday shifts; PRN staff work as-needed. Requires AR State X-Ray License and ARRT Certification preferred. Washington Regional Urgent Care offers six locations in Northwest Arkansas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
