Job Summary
Greet patients, communicate treatment steps, and provide solutions to patient problems while recognizing emergent situations. Execute radiology procedures, obtain vital signs and medical history, and assist with patient transfers and check-in/out processes. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, prepare rooms, and ensure proper radiation protection and shielding techniques. Maintain equipment, perform quality control, and complete required documentation for all patient visits. Ensure current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- Must be available for rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule
- Must be available for 12-hour weekday shifts
- Must be available for every-other weekend
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Must be available for Monday through Friday shifts
- Must be available for 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. shifts
- Must be available for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. shifts
- Must maintain current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
