Job Summary
Conduct x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, and perform Medical Assistant duties including patient check-in/out and vital signs collection. Greets patients, communicates wait times, and provides direction for treatment steps while ensuring proper radiation protection and shielding. Executes follow-up calls, assists with patient transfers, and maintains equipment working order by reporting malfunctions. Completes required documentation and performs quality control procedures to ensure exam accuracy. Maintains current licensure and certification for radiology equipment and facility standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- Must be available for rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule
- Must be available for 12-hour weekday shifts
- Must be available for every-other weekend
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Must be available for Monday through Friday shifts
- Must be available for 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. shifts
- Must be available for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. shifts
- Must maintain current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
