Job Summary
Greet patients in waiting areas and exam rooms while communicating clearly about wait times and treatment steps. Perform x-ray testing using proper body mechanics and patient movement, operate diagnostic equipment, and prepare rooms with necessary supplies. Document patient vital signs, histories, and medications accurately, then execute follow-up calls with urgency. Assist front desk personnel with check-in/out procedures, facilitate patient transfers, and ensure equipment remains in proper working order. Maintain current licensure and certification, while continuously improving diagnostic imaging knowledge through educational resources.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- Must be available for rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule
- Must be available for 12-hour weekday shifts
- Must be available for every-other weekend shifts
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Must be available for Monday through Friday shifts
- Must be available for 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. shifts
- Must be available for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. shifts
- Must maintain current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
