Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing using knowledge of anatomy and physiology, operate diagnostic equipment, and prepare rooms with necessary supplies. Greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Obtain and document vital signs, history, and medication information. Assist with patient transfers, procedures supervised by providers, and front desk check-in/out tasks. Execute follow-up calls with urgency and maintain equipment in proper working order. Ensure quality exams through quality control procedures and proper radiation protection techniques. Maintain current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
