Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing using knowledge of anatomy and physiology, operating diagnostic equipment, developing film, and preparing rooms with necessary supplies. Greets patients, communicates wait times, provides directions, and solves patient problems while recognizing emergent situations. Executes follow-up calls, assists front desk with check-in/out, obtains vital signs, and documents patient history. Assists with patient transfers, procedures, and quality control, ensuring proper radiation protection and equipment maintenance. Maintains current licensure and diagnostic imaging skills. Full-time team members work rotating 36-40 hour/week shifts including every-other weekends. Baptist Health Urgent Care offers 23 locations across Arkansas providing walk-in treatments for injuries and illnesses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
