Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using anatomy knowledge. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, prepare rooms with supplies, and execute Medical Assistant duties. Greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Obtain vital signs, document history and medications, and assist with patient transfers. Complete required documentation, perform radiology procedures, and ensure equipment quality control. Follow clinical procedures for patient safety and radiation protection. Maintain current licensure and certification for facility equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
