Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing using body mechanics and patient movement knowledge, operate diagnostic equipment, and develop films. Prepare rooms with necessary supplies and supplies, and execute Medical Assistant duties. Greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Obtain and document vital signs, history, and medications. Assist with patient transfers and procedures supervised by providers. Ensure equipment is in working order and maintain current licensure and certification. Follow documentation procedures and quality control protocols for patient safety and radiation protection.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
